Horses continue to be a popular farm animal, despite the fact that on most farms, they are more of a “pet” than a working farm animal. Your students can use these pony and horses notebooking pages to write about these fascinating and beautiful equines.

Julia Roberts did an excellent documentary in 2000 for PBS about the “Wild” Horses of Mongolia. I couldn’t find the complete video online, but your local library probably has the DVD. It’s worth hunting down.
