In this free construction lapbook, your student will learn about the parts of a building, design their own blueprint, label construction equipment, and explore careers in construction.

Activities:
Careers in Construction – Describe the careers available in construction in the simple fold. (architect, engineer, etc.)
Parts of a Building – In the matchbook fold, define and label the different parts of a building. (substructure and superstructure)
Blueprints – In the simple fold, explain what blueprints are.
Small Blue Printer – Create your own blueprint.
Skyscraper – In the shaped book, describe how skyscrapers are built.
Construction Equipment – Label, color and describe the use of each piece of construction equipment.
