Learn about the 3 categories of turtles: freshwater, saltwater, and land-dwelling.

Read the Bartleby books. Pretend you are Bartleby and keep a journal. You could write, draw or both.

Choose 3 types of turtles native to your area and study them. Learn to identify them, about their habitat, their food, predators, etc.

Visit a pet store or zoo to see some turtles. Try to determine if they are male or female based on their plastron’s curvature.
