Leap Day Worksheet

Since Leap Day only comes around every four years, now is the perfect time to teach your kids all about why we have a Leap Year with this free printable Leap Day Worksheet.

The Leap Year worksheet has these fill in the blank questions:

• What is Leap Day?
• How often is there a Leap Year?
• How many days are in a Leap Year?
• Why do we have a Leap Year?
• Is Leap Year ever skipped? If so, why? (Spoiler: Yes, it is sometimes skipped!)

The printable worksheet also includes a line drawing of a frog to color.  Frogs are often associated with leap day because … they leap!
