Pufferfish (often spelled puffer fish) are also called blowfish, globefish, balloonfish, swellfish, and even sea squab. Pufferfish mostly live in tropical waters, are scale-less and are usually highly poisonous. There are nearly 200 species of blowfish in the Tetraodontidae family of bony fish.
