This 10-page printable pack of Tree Trunk Rings & Tree Anatomy comes in two differentiated levels.

One level is for second to fourth graders, and a more difficult set of worksheets is for fifth to eighth-grade students.

Each Tree Trunk Rings & Anatomy worksheet set has an instructional page with the different parts of the tree trunk labeled. There’s also a blank tree trunk page for your students to write the names of the parts of a tree trunk.

A handy word bank is included for your students, also in two levels.

There are three “Identify the Age of a Tree by its Rings” pages: two pages of examples to practice counting rings and one blank page to reproduce for each tree or log that you encounter in your nature study. The blank page is perfect for a nature journal and is also included in the Tree Nature Journal product.
