Insect Worksheets and Bug Nature Journal Printables
Use these free Insect Facts worksheets to record what you’ve learned about bugs and even make your own personal Bug Nature Journal of insects you’ve found.

These Insect Facts Worksheets in 2 levels and also coordinate with our Insect Lapbook.
These insect worksheets would work great as a nature journal to identify different insects you encounter in nature, or just as a way to record what you’ve learned about some of the six-legged creatures in the hexapod invertebrates of the class Insecta.
Did you know? The word insect comes from the Latin insectum, which means “cut up” because insects’ bodies look like they are cut into three distinct parts.
With these Insect Facts worksheets, your students can identify an insect, draw a picture (or paste a printed one), describe where it generally lives, what it eats, and then write an interesting fact about the insect.
There are two hand-writing levels and each level also has an additional worksheet designed to be folded in half to make a “journal”.
