Read the parable of the Good Samaritan in the Bible: Luke 10:25-37.

Discussion Questions:
Which of the men in the story showed compassion?
If you are playing in the park and a kid that is being mean to you falls and gets hurt, what would you do?
If you see someone who is sad, what could you do?
What should be your motivation for helping someone in need?
Activity:
Make a list of professions in which compassion is necessary.
Volunteer at a nursing home or children’s hospital. Even young children can show compassion by visiting or reading to others.
