My First Letter A Book – Cut out the mini book and have the child cut and color the small boxes and glue them into the book. Then they can write the words on the pages (you can do dotted letters for smaller children to trace).

The Society of Ants: Cut each type of ants and description into a long strip. The child can color them. Make a pocket for them to slip into in the lapbook.

Ant Life Cycle Chart – use it in conjunction with the Ant Life Cycle Sequence Cards. The child can color the pictures as they learn. Make a pocket to slip the life cycle sequencing cards into on the lapbook.

Parts of the Ant coloring page – Shrink it to fit into the lapbook.

Ant Coloring Sheets – Cut them out after they are colored and use them to decorate the lapbook.

Vocabulary Words – I chose vocabulary words for each child based on their abilities and we wrote them in the middle of the lapbook.
