Recipe: Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcakes

These cupcakes are one of my favorites. They taste like chocolate chip cookies!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcakes

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup loosely packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Combine until creamy.

Spoon into paper lined muffin cups about half full.  Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.

Filling

1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
Combine and add:

1 cup chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla

Remove cupcakes from oven.  Increase oven temperature to 375.  Spoon topping over each cupcake and return to oven for additional 12 minutes.  Makes 18.
