About Homeschool Helper
My name is Amy Smith and I am Homeschool Mom that lives in Missouri.
I have been homeschooling our three beautiful children since 2002 when
our oldest started Kindergarten. We enjoy the freedom that homeschooling
gives our family. The freedom in our schedule allows us to explore educational
opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable. We are also able
to fine tune each child's curriculum for their strengths and weaknesses.
Most importantly, with homeschooling we are able to make sure our children
receive the Christian based education that is not available in our community.
I started this site in 2006 as a way for homeschoolers to share the
unit studies, lapbooks and other resources they have created with other
homeschoolers. It seemed like the hardest part of creating activities
was just finding an idea or getting started. With this site I get to
help others by posting some of the work my children are doing. In return,
I get to use all the wonderful ideas that are submitted with my children.
Oh, and best of all, everything is FREE.
