The Light and the Glory Activity Book
From Sea to Shining Sea for Children by Peter Marshall and David Manuel
From Sea to Shining Sea Activity Book
OPTIONAL:(out of print and difficult to obtain) Stories of American History by Wilbur F. Gordy

Each week, you will read one short chapter in In God We Trust, and supplement the biographical material with further enrichment activities. You will create a notebook as you go, with narrations of what you learn, copy work related to the topic, Bible verses that fit in with the subject, and other information that is pertinent. While optional, the activity books listed are wonderful additions to the study. The books are fully reproducible, so you can make copies for each of your children, and they can add them to their notebooks. They may enjoy coloring them while you read aloud to them if they are younger. There is additional reading from the other core texts that compliments the material in In God We Trust, and there are other read-aloud titles listed for some chapters as well. You will also place a timeline figure for each chapter.
